Spirit AI Launch Roundup – GDC to Develop
In an eventful few months for Spirit AI, we had an incredibly successful showing at GDC, had a Hollywood actress interact with a Character Engine powered demo in front of a live audience at London Games Festival, and now -- we're nominated for a Develop Award!
GDC 2017 was when we were able to announce what we were doing to the world — and reception has been fantastic across both our products, Character Engine and Ally. We’ve had some fantastic coverage come out of the event.
We were proud to sponsor the very first AI Summit at London Games Festival this year — we hosted an esteemed panel of guests talking about online harassment in games, and why Ally, as abuse detection and intervention, is much needed.
Also, WestWorld actress Talulah Riley was on stage for our closing keynote — and chatted with our Jane the robot character live, to find out more about why she’d been taken into police custody. The audience were also able to ask questions and suggest things that Talulah could say to Jane. An entertaining and compelling session all round!
Finally — we have been shortlisted for a Develop Award for Best Technology Provider! Our Chief Creative Officer Mitu (that’s me!), as well as Andy and Phil from our Sales team will be in attendance at the event. So if you want to meet, please say hello!
